Match Officials - Fixtures and Availability

As a match official, it’s important to keep your availability status current to help league providers plan effectively. This section explains how to mark your availability for fixtures, ensuring there’s always a match official assigned when needed.

On the 'Fixtures' page, you can easily view the league you’re associated with. If you’re involved in multiple leagues, simply use the 'Leagues' dropdown menu to select the league fixtures you need.

The main section of the page displays all your upcoming fixtures, giving you a clear overview of what you’ve been scheduled for in the weeks and months ahead. This makes it easy to stay organised and prepared for your matches.

Fixture Options

Clicking the 'Options' button next to a fixture gives you access to some key features:

  • Add to Calendar – Click this button to add this fixture to your own calendar as a reminder.
  • Details – View important information, including time, date, location, and pitch details.
  • Confirm Availability – If you are available for the game, click the button to mark yourself as available.
  • Edit Fixture Result – Update the match result after the game has taken place. This option will be greyed out until the match is complete.

Marking Your Availability

Use the 'Mark Availability' button (displayed in red) to indicate whether you are available for specific games. This helps ensure accurate scheduling and planning.

When you click the 'Mark Availability' button, you’ll be taken to a new screen where you can indicate whether you’re available to be a match official for the fixture. Just tick the boxes on the left, then click yes, no or maybe to set your availability.

  • Yes – You are available.
  • No – You are not available.
  • Maybe – You’re unsure at this time.

This information helps league providers plan ahead and ensure a match official is available for each fixture. If you select 'No', the league can arrange a replacement. We would recommend checking and following your league providers policy or procedures for marking availability.
